Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Afrisovera Studios is a trading name of Afrisovera Global Holdings Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17244459), registered office Office 19286, 182-184 High Street North, East Ham, London, E6 2JA ("we", "us").
We make mobile games and apps. We are the data controller for every title listed in section 2. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number ZC263681.
2. Games and apps covered
This policy covers every game and app published by Afrisovera Studios that is listed below. The last column shows which sections of Part B apply to each title. When we release a new title, or a title starts using a new feature, we update this table and the date at the top.
| Title | Type | Platform | Part B sections that apply |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marble Blast 3D | Game | Android (Google Play) | 6 Advertising |
| Hammer Throw: Stadium Star | Game | Android (Google Play) | 6 Advertising |
| Avena | App: event tickets (18+) | Android (Google Play) | 4 Accounts · 5 Payments · 7 Crash reporting · 8 Permissions (camera, photos, notifications) · 9 Content (event photos, reports) |
| Safehold | App: protected payments (18+) | Android (Google Play) | 4 Accounts · 5 Payments · 7 Crash reporting · 8 Permissions (notifications) · 9 Content (deal messages, proof) |
If a Part B section is not listed for a title, that title does not use that feature.
Part A · Applies to all titles
3. Data every title handles
Data stored on your device
Progress, scores, preferences and settings are stored on your phone. Unless a title uses an account (section 4), this data stays on your device, we cannot see it, and it is deleted when you uninstall the title.
Google Play statistics
Google Play gives us statistics about our titles, such as the number of installs, ratings, and crash and performance reports (which include details like device model and Android version). We use these to fix problems and improve our titles. They do not identify you to us.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and what you write. We use this only to reply and to help you.
Part B · Applies only to the titles listed for that section in section 2
4. Accounts
Some apps let you create an account so your data is kept safe and available on other devices. For these titles we collect your name or display name, email address and password (stored only in scrambled, "hashed" form, so we cannot read it), plus the information you add in the app. If you sign in with Google or another provider, we receive your name, email address and an account ID from that provider, never your password. We use this to run your account, keep it secure and send you important messages about it (such as sign-in codes, tickets and updates on your deals). We only send marketing if you choose to receive it.
In Avena and Safehold we also record what you do with your account: events you host and tickets you buy, and Safehold deals you create or accept (title, amount, the other person's email, the agreed proof of completion, and the messages and proof you add).
5. Purchases and payments
If a title sells in-app items or subscriptions, payment is handled by Google Play billing. If a title takes other payments (for example tickets or services), payment is handled by Stripe. You enter your card details with Google or Stripe, not with us, and we never see or store your full card number. We receive a record of the purchase (what was bought, the amount, the date and a transaction reference) so we can deliver it, give refunds and meet our tax and accounting duties.
Avena and Safehold
- Who you pay. When you buy a ticket or fund a deal, you pay the event organiser or seller directly through their own Stripe account; they are the merchant. We receive only our platform fee. We never hold your money.
- What the organiser or seller sees. Because you chose to buy from them, they receive your name, email address and what you bought, so they can deliver it, check you in or contact you about the deal.
- Getting paid. Organisers and sellers set up payouts with Stripe inside the app. They give their identity and bank details to Stripe, not to us; we only see whether their payout account is ready and which country it is in.
6. Advertising
Free titles may show ads through Google AdMob, provided by Google Ireland Limited for users in the UK, EEA and Switzerland, and by Google LLC elsewhere. To show and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads software may collect and share with Google and its advertising partners:
- your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers;
- your approximate location, worked out from your IP address;
- how you interact with ads and the title (app interactions);
- diagnostic information such as crash logs and performance data.
We do not receive this information in a form that identifies you. Google explains how it uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your choices about ads
- Consent. If you are in the UK, EEA or Switzerland, the title asks for your consent the first time you open it. You can accept, refuse ("Do not consent") or choose per purpose ("Manage options"). If you refuse, you may still see ads, but they will not be personalised.
- Change your mind. You can change your choice at any time from the title's privacy settings.
- Advertising ID. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (usually Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads).
7. Analytics and crash reporting
Some titles use an analytics or crash-reporting service (for example Google Firebase) to understand which features are used and to fix crashes. This may collect an app-instance ID, device model, Android version, approximate location from your IP address, and how you use the title. The provider used by each title is named in section 11. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent first.
Avena and Safehold use Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports only. If the app crashes, it sends a technical report (device model, Android version, app version, a Firebase installation ID and the error details). It does not include your name, email or payment details.
8. Device permissions
A title asks for access to your camera, photos, microphone, location, contacts or notifications only when a feature needs it, and Android asks you first. You can refuse, or turn access off at any time in your phone's settings, and the rest of the title keeps working. For example, camera access is used only to take the photo you choose, and precise location only while you use a feature that needs it.
- Camera (Avena). Organisers use the camera to scan ticket QR codes at the door. The images are processed on the phone and are not stored or sent to us.
- Photos (Avena). Organisers can choose a cover photo for an event. It is uploaded and shown publicly on the event page.
- Notifications (Avena and Safehold). With your permission we send notifications about your tickets and deals using Firebase Cloud Messaging, which uses a device token, not your name or email.
9. Content you create or share
If a title lets you post messages, photos or other content, we store that content to provide the feature. Content you make public or share with other users can be seen by them. You can delete your content in the title, or ask us to delete it.
- Avena: event details and cover photos are public. If you report an event, we store your reason and any details you add, and use them only to review the event.
- Safehold: deal messages and proof are seen only by the two people in the deal and, if a problem is reported, by our team reviewing it.
Part A continued · Applies to all titles

11. Who we share data with
We share data only with the providers a title needs, and only for the purposes in this policy:
| Provider | What for | Used by |
|---|---|---|
| Google (Google Play) | App distribution, statistics, in-app billing | All titles |
| Google (AdMob) | Advertising | Marble Blast 3D, Hammer Throw: Stadium Star |
| Google (Firebase Crashlytics and Cloud Messaging) | Crash reports and notifications | Avena, Safehold |

| Namecheap | Hosting this website and our email, and sending service emails | All titles |
| The event organiser or seller you buy from | Delivering what you bought (see section 5) | Avena, Safehold |
When a title adds a provider, we add it to this table before that version is released. We may also share data with authorities if the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data.
12. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by recognised safeguards, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses.
13. How long we keep data
- Data on your device: until you uninstall the title.
- Accounts: while your account is open. When you delete it, your name, email, password and sign-ins are removed straight away, and other account data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.
- Purchase records, tickets and Safehold deals (including deal messages and proof): 6 years, as required by UK tax law and to deal with any legal claims. After you delete your account, these are used only for legal, tax, fraud-prevention and dispute purposes.
- Crash reports: kept by Firebase for up to 90 days.
- Emails to us: up to 2 years after our last message with you.
- Advertising and analytics data: kept by the provider under its own retention policy.
14. Your rights and deleting your data
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email support@studios.afrisovera.com. We will reply within one month.
Deleting an account: every title with an account lets you delete it inside the app (in Avena and Safehold: Account, then Delete account), and you can also ask us by email from the address on the account. See studios.afrisovera.com/delete-account. Titles without an account keep no personal data with us; uninstalling removes what is on your phone. If you ask about data held by an ad or analytics provider, we may need your advertising ID to find it.
15. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) between our titles and our servers, store passwords only in hashed form, limit who can access personal data, and keep our software up to date. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data, and we will tell you and the ICO about a serious breach where the law requires it.
16. Children
Avena and Safehold are for adults aged 18 and over. Our other titles are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If we ever publish a title made for children, section 2 will say so and that title will follow Google Play's Families policies.
17. This website
studios.afrisovera.com does not use cookies, analytics or third-party trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for a limited time for security.
18. Changes and version history
We update this policy when we add a title, when a title starts using a Part B feature, or when we change how we handle data. The date at the top always shows the latest version. If a change significantly affects how we use your data, we will also tell you in the title or on its Google Play page.
